How fast will my car acclerate from 0-100 Km/h after PPC tuning ?

The reduced time for acceleration and car performance is dependent on the effect and gain in torque.
On several models BSR have measured the acceleration time before and after tuning and the
results are published on the specific car models found via the products page.
Because there are many factors that affect the result, we have decided to show the difference
in percent instead of time. The intervals that are shown are based on
an ordinary overtaking manouver.
In general the accleration time will be reduced in the same percentage as
that of the engine effect.
Other performance modifications ?

It's very important that the software is adapted to the hardware that came with your car to
avoid trouble. We strongly advise you from using other parts that are not included in our upgrade,
like a dump valve, bigger downpipe etc.
Can I use my PPC in more than one car ?

The PPC "marries" itself to the car it's programmed to. BSR can't unlock or reprogram
the PPC so it can be used in another vehicle. BSR has chosen to keep this security function
so as not to remove theft codes, vin numbers etc from the ECU. The cost isn´t the PPC
unit, it´s the software development etc..
We recommend that you offer the next car owner the oppurtunity to try the PPC in the car, after
a demonstration they can decide if they wish to purchase the PPC or not ...
Can my garage & mechanic see that my car has been tuned ?

Your local garage does not normally have the skill or equipment to read files from the ECU,
to do this they have to send the ECU to Bosch or the vehicle manufacturer.
We never encourage the PPC user to cheat their garage, car salesman etc. that the car is tuned
with our product. We think instead it's better to tell the truth. The PPC doesn't in any way
affect servicing or fault diagnosis.
Does it matter if my car is manual or automatic ?

The software upgrade from BSR is very well adapted to the existing type of gearbox,
to avoid trouble and provide the best performance, acceleration and drivabillity.
What about "Wear and Tear" ?

PPC tuning doesn't affect "wear and tear" at all.
It's how you drive and look after your car (service intervals etc) that affect the condition
of your vehicle.
What about the fuel consumtion after PPC tuning ?

Optimizing the software in the ECU will provide increased power and less fuel consumtion
in general.
Will my car go any faster after PPC tuning ?

In most cases your car will achieve a higher top speed.
In car´s equipped with a rev limiter (most modern car´s have) BSR have in some
cases increased the rev limit to reach a higher top speed.
